Colour Create Challenge

I am a member of a ladies lunch club (something encouraged at work!) and they have recently elected me Club Secretary. This coming Wednesday is our first meeting with me in my new role so I thought I'd make everyone a little gift to say thank you for having the confidence in me. Hopefully I'll do a good job!

I made these cute little bags using my cricut and filed them with Lindor chocolate eggs (yummy!) and then decorated in co-ordinating colours which just happened to fit in nicely with this weeks Colour Create challenge: red, black and off white!

Here they are all together, I hope they like them!

Rosy!

Fab sketch this week over at Sketch Saturday and I needed to make a fab birthday card for fellow crafter SJ. I also wanted to try out my new Rose is a Rose stamp set and this is what I came up with...

Julie's all day class

What a fun weekend I had last week - me and a few others went up to Leeds to visit Julie and go to her all day class - we did a lot of chatting and not much crafting but we all had lots of fun!

and here is a lovely tin we decorated to hold our cards...

and these are the ones I had to finish off at home (because we were too busy chatting!)

These are all made using the Sale-A-Bration sets Whimsical Words, Happy Moments & Vintage labels & the Sunny Day Simply Scrapping kit (tempting turquiose, pink passion, old olive and pumpkin pie). I wasn't too sure about the colour scheme at first but I actually love it!!!

Green plus one!

Hi Everyone!

Who's looking forward to Eastenders tonight?!!! I want to know whodunnit! I will defo be glued to the TV tonight so no crafting for me until I know the answer!

Anyway, on to this week's crafting creation - I needed a 'thank you' card for a card commission so I decided to utilise this week's My Time To Craft challenge: 'green plus one' and this is what I came up with...

All you need is Love!

Well Valantines Day is here again! I wasn't here for most of the weekend because I was up near Leeds having a lovely time with Siobhan and Julie and some of the other Jems! (I will post some pictures of my projects in a few days time). I therefore thought I'd better make him something special so here is his matching card and milk carton filled with goodies!

I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday (last week's) and the milk carton came from Sarah-Jane's blog - I love it SJ!!!

A Bouncing Baby Boy!

My friend Sarah had a lovely little baby boy on Monday! He's called Oliver and he was 8lb10. I can't wait to meet him but figured I ought to leave them to it for a little while to get through the hordes of visitors! So I have made them a card instead. I used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch...

Special Birthday card

And the reason it's special is because it was for my friend Sarah who is 9 months pregnant and was really hoping to enjoy a labour free day! As far as I'm aware she managed it (her birthday was on Sunday) but I haven't spoken to her for a few days. On the other hand I think I would have had a text by now if the baby had arrived!

60th Birthday card

Well, you know you've made it in the card making world when your boss asks you to make a card for his secretary's 60th birthday! I've been lacking inspiration this last two weeks or so due to having a mega bad cold and sinus infection. I've also been working on mass producing my wedding invitations (which I'm starting to think I should have made simpler!) so with all that I haven't done much crafting.

I used this week's Sketch Saturday sketch and took inspiration for the colour combo from last year's IB&C and Julie's blog

...and this is what I came up with

I'm actually quite pleased with the way it came out, I just hope my boss is as well!
