Our new house!

We're moving at the end of May into a new build house so we went to see it at the weekend to check on progress!

Welcome back Victoria

My lovely secretary has been off poorly for months but she is now on the mend and is back at work today! I have missed her lots so made her this little card to welcome her back to the office

Don't you just love Anya!

I just think she's soooooooo pretty!!! My mum coloured her in but now she doesn't have use of her thumb I had to make the card for her so it was a joint effort!

I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers and had loads of fun with all the layers. I'm also going to enter this card into the Anyone for Anya challenge this week which is Sweet as Sugar and is basically to use anything girly!

It's Ben's Grandma's birthday on Monday so I rustled up this little card late on Thursday evening when I had a phone call from Ben all in a panic that he'd forgotten about it!

Simon's 30th

Our friend Simon turned 30 on Easter weekend and here is the card I made for him...

I based it on last week's Sketch Saturday sketch (but I didn't get around to posting it in time!) and I had a go at paper piecing (hat and trousers) which is something I'm still trying to master!

Ben thought it was a bit girly for a boy so I ended up removing the top bow and replacing it with 3 pearls. I must admid, it did look better that way (but don't tell Ben I said so!!!)
