White on white...

OK, I decided to enter a challenge this week that was somewhat out of my comfort zone, the card has to be 'white on white' which meant a bright main image with everything else being in white. I was a bit stumped but here's what I came up with...


I think I may have cheated a bit by using pink ribbon and inking the edges of my white cardstock but hey, I did my best!

Recipe:
Stamps: Nikki & Friends
Inks: Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Soft Suede, black staz on
Ribbon: Melon Mambo
Card: whisper white
Other: Big Shot, Swiss Dots embossing folder, charm, Basic Rhinestones, nesties
Punches: Label punch, small hole punch

    I think you're not strictly following the rules because of the ribbon... we'll have to check with Michele who set the challenge... But your card is great! I absolutely love the sentiment with that image! Thanks for trying the challenge even if it's out of your comfort zone!

    This is a flabulous card Niki... I would find it hard not to use Melon Mambo ribbon either!! I really like the Nesties shape you've used to cut out the image and mount. The little handbag charm finishes it off perfectly :-D Thanks for joining in the fun at LCI this week. xx
