Simply Stampin' Challenge - Sketch

We have a great sketch for you over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge this week:

When I first saw this one I wasn't too sure what to do. This was certainly a challenge with all those layers. I decided in the end to rotate the sketch anticlockwise and this is what I came up with...

I thought I would also make a box in a bag to match...

and here it is with the windows open...

This turned into a really fun project in the end and I sent it to my little friend Eleanor for her birthday - I hope you like it Eleanor!!

Beware of the MONSTERS!!

Hi Everyone

There's a theme over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge this week which is 'You've Got Male' so for my DT entry I decided to boycott the traditional Fathers' Day cards and go for a kiddies card!

Our friends' little boy is 3 in a few weeks time and he is a little monster (a lovely one!) so this is going to be for him

I really love these monsters - they are so cool!!

Simply Stampin' Challenge Colour Combo

We have a fab colour combo for you over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge this week:

Now I really liked these colours and thought they were quite masculine and it just happened to be Ben's birthday...

I'd actually already made him a card but he needed one from Baby Sophie so here is what I came up with:
