Having a go at Distressing

My favourite auntie, Auntie Vera, turns 80 on Wednesday so such a special birthday called for a very special card! I've used a lot of my Alley Pally purchases from yesterday to create this one and thought I'd give distressing a try which is something I usually shy away from...

Here is the card

I used the sketch from this week's Sketch Saturday and took the colours from this weeks Our Creative Corner colour challenge: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Expresso
